National Championship
Saturday 31st July/Sunday 1st August
Advance ticket sales closed Friday 23rd July. Please pay at the turnstiles (cash sales only).
On the day prices are as follows:
Weekend Adult ￡34

The prices above cover all three days of the event, including the practice day on Friday 30th July. It’s qualifying day on Saturday 31st and then Finals day on Sunday 1st August.
SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS APPLY FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO ATTEND ON THE SATURDAY ONLY
Please note that there are no Saturday only tickets available at the turnstiles – everyone has to pay for the whole weekend if they enter on Friday or Saturday. Special arrangements can be made for partial refunds for the Sunday if necessary, but this needs to be organised at the time of purchase of the tickets at either the turnstiles or entrance gate. Partial refunds after the Saturday meeting are paid as follows:
Adults: £12
Child: £6
Family: £30
These arrangements apply because of the large number of people staying within the confines of the stadium. Paul Gerrard, Race Director.
There will be practice at Hednesford on Friday, 30th July, between 2pm and 5pm, for the National Championship Weekend. Last year’s times were:
Stock Rods 2.00pm – 2.15pm, 3.00pm – 3.15pm, 4.00pm – 4.15pm
Lightning Rods 2.15pm – 2.30pm, 3.15pm – 3.30pm, 4.15pm – 4.30pm
National Hot Rods 2.30pm – 2.50pm, 3.30pm – 3.50pm, 4.30pm – 4.50pm
Legends 2.50pm – 3.00pm, 3.50pm – 4.00pm, 4.50pm – 5.00pm
It is expected the same times will apply this year.
The tyre allocation for the National Championship will be 4 new slicks and/or 4 new wets.
All drivers must race in a championship meeting final, unless mechanically unable, verified by an official. The spectators have paid to see you race. Failure to meet this criteria will result in loss of prize/travel/start money from the meeting and a ban from the next WQ meeting.
