Simpson Race Exhausts have agreed to extend their sponsorship of National Hot Rods World Series NI, which kicks off at the Tullyroan Oval Speedweekend on Sunday July 24th.
The feature race final winner at each round of the Northern Ireland series will receive enhanced prize money courtesy of former BTCC star Matt Simpson of Simpson Race Exhausts, the UK’s premier manufacturer of exhausts for the motorsport and performance car market.
This is the richest sponsorship package since Simpson Race Exhausts became title sponsors of World Series NI back in 2018, and is sure to be a huge boost to the series which continues to go from strength to strength.
BTCC ace Simpson, also a former National Hot Rods European Champion, is very enthusiastic about the sponsorship package. “I’m really pleased to have continued my partnership with Davy McCall and Darren Black at DMC Race Promotions in Northern Ireland, and also supporting the ever growing grids of National Hot Rods over there. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in National Hot Rods for their custom.”
National Champion Derek Martin has confirmed his attendance at the opening round of Simpson Race Exhausts World Series NI as he kicks off the defence of his Northern Ireland title.
Amongst the expected grid of 25 cars is County Cork’s Jeff Riordan, who finished an impressive fourth in the recent World Championship at Ipswich. Jeff has chosen to register in Northern Ireland for the 2022/23 campaign in order to develop his talent amongst the bigger grids of the Ulster series.
